Re: Coolest cars I see are at....
I've ridden in one of these on the streets of Key West. They are slow and stupid. I've been in better golf carts. is that Eminem in that pic?

Yes, during his 'parking attendant' phase.

The Aptera is cool enough to attract thieves. I would prefer to have one that I can take INTO the office, not park outside of it
World's smallest production car .

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....
Funny - my wife, whose auto enthusiasm mostly stops dead at her adored Forester, is also a fan of Top Gear (BBC). She actually doesn't like when I watch episodes without her, as I probably won't watch them twice and she won't likely watch them without me, so it's as if she's missing them!
I've heard things about the American Top Gear. It's kind of like TPIR without Bob Barker... It seems like it might be a bad idea, so I'm saving myself from seeing it. To topic - there's a fella around the bend from here who drives his Infiniti Whatever when he's not driving his flat light green real-deal HUMVEE or black Testarossa. Interesting driveway.

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....
Viper. A guy was a the car show 3 weeks a go with one . He bought it in AZ. I said WoW. He said WOW what ? It is made up of all rusty truck parts . The only cool part is the looks and the interior. That was the guy who just bought it USED. Came with the $10,000 wheels and tires but no optional windshield wipers.

Vipers remind me of the Dodge Stratus...
I just don't like how common and average they look.

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....
Hold up... is this a drunk post or a troll post?
I apologize on behalf of the Viper for its resistance to drowning in scoops, ducts, and erector set/park bench spoilerage.

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....
I used to admire the Viper until it sunk in that it is a Chrysler product and it's just a brute force car - large engine and super wide tires. I'm more impressed with the Lotus Elise/Exige.

Re: Coolest cars I see are at....
Drove one a few years ago, later model one... a rattling heap of metal and plastic. Super powerful engine, but who cares if the rest of the car is junk.
Corvette, for American engineering, is the tops. |
