Thanks anyway...

...but Princess just said no.

As a person who owns cats and a pet lover in general, I did not find this video very amusing. The person that set it up should have known that the cat's claws would stick in the stuffed toy. That's the way cat's grip things, especially when they can't get any footing.

I think that it's sick to torture pets or animals for our amusement. I see this kind of crap all the time on America's Funniest Videos. The people usually submit videos of their pets, but somtimes they even do these kind of sick stunts to their own kids. It never fails to amaze me how low people will sink just to get money.

No cat was harmed in that. A guy at work I showed it to recognised that clip as an excerpt from a Nokia phone commercial they made a while back. He assured me that it is a fake and no cat was harmed during the production.

Does knowing that it's a fake make it less funny? Well...a little. Do I still laugh my but off at the thought of it? Yes!

I still don't think it's funny even if it is fake.
Pratfalls by the Stooges, Marx Bros. Abott & Costello. I find very funny. It's funny because they knew what they were doing. Animals do not.

I don't think watching someone crash during an auto race is funny. It's a type of pratfall but definiely not funny.

its was funny - that is a fact!
that cat was fine - i've seen our dumb cat do much worse to herself, and bounce back to play seconds later.

i think the funniest part was the sound the cat made as it went around the fan....."MEOOOooooooOOOOoooooWWWW"

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I believe that is called the Doppler effect. Although in the classroom I usually refer to car and train horns for an example!
