SVX is a conspicuous getaway car
In Boston on August 9, 2004 an alert was sent out about two guys involved in the disappearance of an infant. They may be driving a Red 1994 SVX.
I would think if you're going to evade authorities, you'd want to drive a bland car like a Camry or Accord. http://www.nbc30.com/news/3633316/detail.html http://www.teamamberalert.net/news/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=3230 Boy, SVXs involved in kidnappings in Boston and drugs in Montana...I'm starting to wonder what kind of folks own SVXs. |

I was driving on Rt. 290 in Worcester, MA when I heard that alert. Luckily, I was driving my Outback
Can you imagine the dirty looks I would have received (and the possible police intervention) had I been driving my red SVX??? I was afraid to drive it for the next few days.... Dave |

They should've included a description of the car, like "red coupe with funny windows."
All this bad press. |

I was driving my RS that day (like most days) while the pearlie was sitting in a parking lot close by my house in Fitchburg. I was scared it wasn't gonna be there when I got back!
