How to solve the problem with oil leak on the top of motor
Problem: oil leak on the top of the motor
Reason (in that case): Oil is coming from ventilation system through PCV valve, then accumulating in the bottom of the intake manifold, then drips from the I.R.I.S. valve shaft when the valve is open. How to solve: install oil catch tank What to buy:
Instruction: 1. Remove intake manifold 2. Remove old PCV valve 3. Clean intake manifold inside to remove all oil from the bottom 4. Clean the top of the motor 5. Install new PCV valve 6. Measure hoses lengh to cut 7. Install oil catch tank 8. Install hoses to PCV valve and to crank case out pipe 9. Install intake manifold 10. Plug hoses (or hoses and adapters) to oil catch tank 11. Enjoy!
