new svx owner in france ^^

2 month ago i just buy my first SVX
somes parts needs to be replaced, but the condition of the car is ok.
and the milleage are nice too.

hi all!
thanks for all respond.
ok about this car :
it's one of the svx sells by subaru france ( i have heard 40 in total )
so, it's an LHD.
he's from 96' and have 190 000kms ( dunno in milles, sorry! )
dont know of its an LS or LSI or something else, i dont know difference.
anyway, he have black leather seat ( and warmed ^^ ) and the interior trim is light purple cloth. ( picture later )
he has electric setting on the front healight.
he dont have side marker, it's a turning signal light.
the paint aren't so nice. the paint have many many scratchs and missing paint. the mobile roof have rust too.
maybe i'll repaint it later ...
i had somes pics the first day after i buy it ( i have removed the interior to clean it, and remove the crappy after market alarm.)
and change the sound system ( the subaru original receiver was fun, but dont work realy well, and can't read CD! but i keep it! and the stock speakers was like sand! )




and an pictures of the R1 concept vented, drilled and slotted dics, posi ceramic pads and not see on the pic, goodridge avia lines.

about football, i dont realy like this sport. it's too much about money, politics and theater. but i'm agree, the hand was were and the goal aren't nice and good. i'm for replay the match or better, give the match to the irland. french playing was ugly ...

My sunroof has a rust spot too, the only one on the whole car. I didn't know there were SVXs with black leather? neat, is the rest of the interior black too?

i'll try to take a better picture because the pictures made from my cell phone are crappy!

and yeah, the sunroof have a spot of rust. but i gonna repair it soon. i've already do that on an FC3S of my best friend.

Registration is easy. You just have to give us some information on your car to include in the registration database.

Earl is keeping a registration database for each year. In addition to this we are now also doing up a separate database for non-USA SVXes, and we will be proud to add your details to that list also.

The idea of doing the lists is to be able to uniquely identify each car, so that members can apply to us for a certificate. The registration certificate is a great help in getting Classic Car status for insurance purposes. It is also useful for showing the provenance of your vehicle. That will become more important as the cars get older.

Go to the SVX Registration Forum and enter the details:

Regards football I have to agree. There can not be honour in a sport where the players see it as their job to cheat if possible and if the ref does not see it.

Rugby is a million times a better game and it is always a pleasure to have the French playing us, win , lose or draw.

Soccer badly needs to adopt some of the Rugby control rules. If Thierry Henri [or any player, Irish or French] was sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes for a professional foul such as hand ball, that player would seriously disadvantage his team for ten minutes, and you could bet he would have to think hard before trying something that would have him on the bench. It would cut out a lot of the diving and theatrical crap also.

Haha Joe, i saw the goal, the hand was CLEARLY involved, but sadly what the referee says is the last word, so a new match is clearly unlikely to happen. .. Maybe the referee was confused and thought it was an handball match!

It appears to be a LHD Claret from the pictures- very shiny paint though. I wonder what other differences/options were available in France? It looks like it also has glass headlights and the fender-mounted running lights near the doors.
