Stereo?
I have never taken so long to uninstall a cd deck and install a new one in my life.
total time=3.5 hours. went from stock cd/tape to a high performance clarion deck. for first 15 or so mins, i just sat there looking at it going. what in the hell do i do... finally found this site http://www.geocities.com/svxdc/AudioInstall-2.htm this was a blessing. haha made it pretty simple. just had a bit of a issue with getting all the mass amounts of wires to fit behind it all. Deck has about 10 RCA jacks coming out (siruis radio, mp3 plugin, amp/sub out and so on) plus a bunch of other stuff. needless to say, i dont ever plan to take that deck out... i think i made up a pretty cool setup though, ill post pictures tomorrow.

Yeah lol I had mine professionally installed because I looked at that tutorial and told myself **** that. Today though I'm pulling it out to hook up an amp and sub.

I've had like 4 different cd players in my car, and helped 3 members install cd players in their own. With the custom wiring adapter, I can install a cd player in about 15 minutes, if I have to splice the wiring using the color chart it takes me about 45.

yeah, the tutorial really helped. and i had to cut both the deck harness and the car wiring harness, and sauter them all (had no good connectors around) then heatwrap them.
im going to wire sub/amp stuff today. Anyone got any good idea where to breach the firewall to get to battery for Amp power?

Remember that the search key is your best friend. Check on posts or the How-To Docs for help when you are doing something. Chances are that someone has had to do it already.
