plastic poo radiator
i you could buy a svx radiator without the trany cooler but made of all aluminum for 400 and a waranty would you

That sounds like a resonable price. There was someone awhile ago that wanted to have one make. They found a place that would do it and wanted to know if anyone was interested. My Plastic radiator blew apart from a slow head gasket leak. Well I guess the slow leak got a little faster when it blew.

Who's your source?
If you get the aluminum rad, let us know your source. Pictures of it pre and post installation would be great as well.

Considering that a new, plastic OEM radiator runs about $350, I'd say a $400 for all-aluminum wouldn't be unreasonable. Assuming your car still has the automatic transmission, just be sure the ATF cooler you use is up to the job. And be aware that, without an in-radiator cooler, you'll lose the cold-driving benefit of the fluid being warmed by the radiator coolant.

I'm still looking into getting an all metal radiator built for our cars. Unfortunately my first attempt failed because a copper/brass radiator is too thick to fit between the power steering cooler and the engine.
If it is to be done it MUST be aluminum.

It could probably be done but that's WAY too much work than it's worth.
I still have the radiator if anyone wants it to try to make it fit. I have some pictures of it I could post for those who are interested.

Brass/copper+aluminium=electrolysis.
Using dissimilar metals will lead to the aluminium corroding away around the water holes between the head and block.
Thats why they only use aluminium the water cooling system. Harvey.
