Sitting in my driveway waiting for an engine teardown! I should have my wifes new car this week and I'll post pics. Once she's squared away and we've given my father his Contour SVT loaner back, I can dig into the engine in earnest.

BTW- the Contour SVT is a lot of fun for a daily driver. Zippy, grippy, and a manual transmission behind the 200hp V-6.

The OFFICIAL meet stuff doesn't start until Saturday morning, but how many of us are going to be there on Friday night?
A LOT, that's how many.
That should be designated party night as far as I'm concerned.
(We'll only have spent 24 of the previous 36 hours in the car, in our case)

If you start in the bar on the night of the 19th, you may not be available nor remember the 20th, 21st, & 22nd. I hope you realize that on the morning of the 22nd you will be on the SIA Plant Tour and that car assembly machines are LOUD.Congrats Lwin. I think you need to buy another SVX.

Hi all you SVXers out there in SVXland,

Only 25 days until the BIG (capitalized for emphasis) 10th Anniversary SVX Meet.

Cecil B. DeMille called me up. He wants to make an epic movie about this event. He wants Charlton Heston to play the lead part of Aredub. He wants Billy Crystal as Ron, and Rodney Dangerfield as Larry.
I think that's very good casting.

I can't wait to hear:
