SIA Plant Tour

Many of you have NOT signed up for the SIA Plant Tour on Mon. morning 7/22/02, (9:00 AM -12:00 noon). In order to go on the plant tour you need to send a PM or e-mail to me saying you want to go and how many will be going. Space on this tour is limited to 75 people. I will cut off sign-ups at 75 or the end of this month (2 weeks) Then I will enter all the names on the SIA forms and sebnd them to SIA. The forms are for the SIA lawyers to absolve SIA of all liability should something happen while you are on their property (Ah Lawyers).
I need your real first and last names to send to SIA.

Just want to make sure that you have me and my wife down for the plant tour as well as the meet. Haven't heard back and don't want to drive 700 miles to miss this tour. Thanks

I'd like to personally thank all those who signed-up to take the SIA Plant Tour. We have 65 people on this tour.

The time for reservations on this tour is now past and the list is closed.

I will forward the list to Rich Johnson of SIA on Monday morning 6/03/02.

I certainly did not mean any offense to you, Larry (iii), as I realize you have put in a lot of time and effort to make this 'thing' happen (and I certainly appreciate your efforts). My point is- here we are still over a month away from 'The Meet' and I figured it was indeed time to check in and see what the specifics are about our get-together. I knew that one of the goals of 'The Meet' was to see (and be seen) at the Subaru factory. I didn't think that the window of opportunity would have already passed at this point in time.

My frustration was with the Subaru representatives putting such a 'cap' on the quantity of tour attendees. My God, we have over 150 CARS signed up to attend; don't they think that the majority of those people coming would want to see the factory!?

Also- this isn't a bunch of Cub Scouts or 4H-ers, but a rather 'hard-core' group of Subaru affectianado's. You'd think they'd want to 'show off' a bit.......

My 2¢.
