good catch - gloss black on the hood, also it was an original 2 valve engine but the air cleaner cover is 4 valve. The hood is factory though. Previous owners had the engine done so I don't know a whole lot of detail on it other than it sounds awesome.
Not sure what exactly he wants for it, just doing the computer illiterate a favor and he is hoping the no reserve sparks interest. I really hate that he is selling. The damn car is one I'd love to vacuum seal in a barn. He dropped into a classic corvette show last year with it (without even washing it first) and took first place. He always pulls this crap. The last one that killed me was a 66 mercury comet cyclone. He let me take his daughter to the prom in it. What he sold that thing for 15 years ago is less than I paid for my svx. I'm sure it is worth triple that now.

On older fords 2V and 4V stood for 2 venturi and 4 venturi... or 2 barrel and 4 barrel.

damn - it is going to sell.
18,600 as of this morning. I hope it goes to a good home. He drove it over here on friday and I took a few pics and a short video and posted a link to the video on the auction. I figured it might help sell it if people can hear it and see it drive and by the looks of how high the bidding went it did help. We also played with the ram air. The vacuum hose was unplugged. We plugged it in and the flaps started working - but they don't open in unison - maybe just a little sticky from not moving for so long? I don't know. He is coming over tonight for my wife's birthday party. At 6:30 when the auction ends and it is sold would it be wrong to congratulate him and then kick him in the nuts?

lol I've got a red 69 mustang (well it's kinda mine, more so my dad's, it's a project car..) 250 I-6, C4 auto... but it's got the hood scoop with the blinker indicator things in it..
Def. would not get 19k for it! (Might get 19k for the nearly all original 64 1/2, #33,xxx)
