Been there. I had the screw scratches and I ended up getting the bumper repainted. Unfortunately the paint chipped right in front of the driver rear tire as well as someone scuffed the corner twice after it was painted.

If I had seen these things happen I would have politely worked out a resolution with the other driver. I would be mad and want to hurt him but I would not take it out on him.

It is a car and it can be fixed. I'm not sure as to what I would do if someone wrote it off though. Probably cry.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

illogical response

Ah yes, all the wild and crazy guys!!

I'll add my vote to those who say that you are over-reacting to an unfortunate situation.

You are right that whoever hit you was wrong, but pal, life's like that and at some time in your life, you might have done just the same.

Maybe some other stuff was really making you feel cranky, but, "GET over it"!!!! Lifes too short to spend more than 3 minutes acting like an idiot and your time is up: personally I would not print any more of your replys to these comments because on this particular topic, enough is enough!!!

'nuff said
