Re: Finally Home
No, this is my first. I only have this one. It is the same one that I was trying to buy about 3 years ago.

I have had my eyes opened from the last 3 years or so when you talk about "Public Servants". I don't think they really exist. It is a nice term used for Public Officials who look good in uniforms. The people at the border are trying to keep things from entering the US, and they are doing a great job of that. When you try to bring in something that is legal, they do a good job of keeping things from entering the US. If they don't have to do something, they will not do it - simple as that. Information or help doing something, no, that is not in our job description and you will have to go to a different department. Oh, I guess that department doesn't exist. Sorry about the rant, but it gets old after awhile. Too bad I couldn't use the race card. The SVX isn't considered a race car anyway, but just a GT.

Congratulations on clearing the border . You've had many challenges in this endeavor, to say the least. As far as I know, Geisha is the third JDM to enter the States. [I'll say more in another thread soon enough ]. Please bring her down to our 'museum meet' in LA in April. You will love the museums. Everyone will love to see the tri-color JDM.

Re: Finally Home
Do you know who the other 2 are or where they are?
I may have cleared the border, but it is not the last of my red tape to get done.

Earl, I'm delighted you have your car home at last. Congratulations! Very similar interior to what my Plum had. I can see it is a CXW rather than a CXD like we discussed. However yours is optioned up, I note cruise and ABS. Just for the record, unless you have purposely misspelled it for your own reasons, if the name you picked is meant to refer to a Japanese entertainment lady using loads of makeup and wearing a kimono, then that should be spelled Geisha. With an "i". Me being pedantic, as usual. Nice one Earl! Joe

Re: Finally Home
Thanks Joe. I did not mean to misspell it, and have now corrected it. It didn't look quite right, but didn't take the time (and I should have) to check it. Thanks for your help on that.
