New from PA

Hey guys new guy here with a 99 Subaru Legacy GT. I am in the middle of an H6 swap and just looking for some info. Just to let you know I really feel bad about tearing apart one of your own.

I bought this car with a bad tranny, but a really good motor. I am now parting this car out, so if I can help you guys with replacing anthing with what I have let me know.

Again I hate to do this, but I need this engine.

97,000 miles with new seals and gaskets all over. 240 horses of pure n/a power!

Car has 130,000 on it.

Here she is!

H6 going into this!

Here is how the car sits now.

Other mods.

3" Borla cat-back dual tip exhaust.
JDM projector headlights
Wrx Struts and Whiteline springs

Sold my MSD, Headers, Competion wires, still have intake to sell.

Diggity. What's the normal weight on a Legacy anyways?

That's a pretty darn clean pearlie. I think I'd be more inclined to put the gearbox from the Legacy in the SVX. Nice cars, both of them, and the H6 in the Legacy should make it quite a sleeper.

Whereabouts in NEPA? I'm near Kutztown, not exactly NE but not far.

Re: New from PA

I am around Wilkes-barre/ Scranton. Yea it is in pretty good condition that is for sure. I was hoping I would get there and it would be scratched and dented with a good engine. I felt really bad taking it off this guy.

I need the four doors and my car has one rust spot. Interior is great in the Legacy and more spacious. I love my LGT it just is not fast enough.

I'm currently in Pittston, but just bought a house in Jenkins Twp. There's a few other SVX folks around here. Are you going to have the Legacy ready for the Reading Meet in April?

Hope to have it ready as quick as possible, but I do not want to skip any steps. I want it just right. That is cool that you are in pittston, cause I am right over the bridge in west pittston. I could use some help with the build if you are available.
