More Soob!

I just want to share my excitement. I soon might be getting another legacy, it's a white beat up 97 auto wagon. The engine may go in my Outback, and anything not welded in to storage. I hate seeing it go to scrap but I need the goods and it's damn ugly. Pics will come soon and I have a couple Q's. What gear ratio is in a legacy wagon? What parts are required to swap an auto legacy and diff into an svx? I know a trans and a diff do the CV's need to be carried over as well? I will now have an SVX engine and soon have a trans, just need an svx to put them in.

Re: More Soob!

If it's a 2.2 it will be a 4.11.

You're gonna need a bigger garage??

If the Outback didn't have the 2 tone decal you'd be able to jam your fist in there Believe it or not still better looking than the white one. BTW the Outback is a 2.2 5-speed. I figured with the giant tires it would have 4.44s.
Anybody have any input as to weather or not I need to swap axles?
