Car won't start

Was driving home yesterday and i noticed that the CEL came on. The car was at this stage running just fine. Turned in to my parking lot and tried to restart the engine (which worked) CEL was still present. Today the car would not start at all. I took a CEL reading and got the following code:
31 Throttle Position Sensor or Circuit
21 Coolant Temperature Sensor or Circuit
23 Air Flow Meter or Circuit
I guess every one of those codes should be fixed but:
Which one of those could make the car behave like it did?
Any suggestions on the problem?

Going out to tow the car to my garage now (Its like -3c/26f and windy outside brrr) to see if I can find any loose wires and whatnot.

Lars

Re: Car won't start

Do the coolant temp sensor first, a leading cause of no-start..... also the cheapest.

It has been known to kick on other codes as well when it fails, and the fact that you drove home and even restarted it when it was warm would indicate the CTS has failed and is failing to indicate a cold-start to the ECU.

Re: Car won't start

Well had it in the garage for some time and the it would start. (a littel rugh but it started) after running for a while it started flawlessly.
Also before it heated up i tried to use starter fluid and it just backfired on me.

Engine cranks, but no start? Engine doesn't crank?

Yes that would indicate the coolant temp sensor.... once your engine warmed up a little inside the CTS reading became closer to what the engine temp actually was.... its probably shorted to "hot".

Re: Car won't start

Problem fixed...
It turns out that it was the MAF afterall..
Cleaned it and resoldered the internal pins. All the codes went away

Thanks for all help
