Welded all night
Couple hours sleep
Barely passed tech
Made 100 laps even on Sat.
On Sunday, brake probs, offs and collisions
Served "Mardis Gras", "Bob Ross" and "Bubba Teeth" penalties
Finished on top of the box in the AWD SVX with manual trans class
Won the "Should've Bought a Car with a Carburator Or Maybe a Swamp Buggy" trophy
Drove the car on the trailer
Red-eyed it home by sunrise on Monday
=

Thanks man, it was a ton of fun. The organizers are the ones that put SUX instead of SVX. pretty funny. Turned out that the brake-light switch on the manual pedal assembly was pushing the brakes down slightly, which slowed out lap times and made us change pads three times over the weekend.

Looks like fun! I'll be in the LeMons New England race in July, not with an SVX though. I'm just curious, how the hell did a VW rabbit take 1st place?

Thats some awesome stuff! No extra brake pads, just extra spray paint? Love the graphics!

Yeah, the paint job was part of a penalty we incurred for going four off. We actually went through three sets of front pads all weekend. The problem was the brake light switch was threaded-in too far slightly pushing the pedal down.
