little creaking...

so normally when i'm just getting going to wherever i'm going... i notice a slight creak from the front of my car when i shift the weight front to back or back to front... otherwise... when i'm accelerating or braking...

i mostly notice it in the parking lots, or the first couple stop signs/lights... havent figured out if it gets better as i go, or i just forget to pay attention after that...

would this be a mount that is failing? which is most likely?? somethin else i should look for?

thanks for any help
-drew

Check the condition of your spring seats, they are rubber rings that cushion your suspension springs in their mounts. Check the mounts while you are at it, they tend to rust. Do a search for strut mounts. Homestarrunner rules!
