16" mitsu eclipse wheels fit svx?

Hi All - I got a line on a set of 16" mitsu eclipse wheels. The add says rims are 5 x 4.5 inches or 5 x 114.3 and have an offset of +42. The tires are 205/55/16. Any ideas if these will fit? The info I've got is that svx has 5 x 114.3 lug pattern and 55 mm offset, but can fit 38 mm to55 mm offset.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks
Haven

They will fit and are probably narrower than the stock SVX rims. You may need rings to make them hubcentric for our cars though.

they fit but reduce the performance of your car by narrowing the tire... you can fit the stock 225/50R16's on those rims but they do ballon a little

reason for the interest is that I've got steel wheels on my svx (previous owner said stock rims warped and he replaced with cheap steel wheels). The tires are worn, so i'm looking for a cheap way to replace wheels and tires. Price for the mitsu wheels w/new tires (dealer takeoffs) is $300. total.

I just did the math and the diff between 225 and 205 is about .8". Not sure if that's significant enough for me to worry about.

I forgot about the hubcentric thing. Does that mean our wheels fit tightly on the hub for proper alignment of the wheel?

Thanks again.

Haven

i wouldnt worry to much about the hubsentric rings just make sure the rim is bolted on squarely and your going to need diffrent lug nuts too though
