Compatibility between OBD-I and OBD-II SVXs, 5spd 96-97 SVX??

If I were to buy a 97 SVX and use my 92 as a parts car would it work? I know the OBD-II is completely different in the sense of the ecu and sensors it monitors. So how much of my 92 would I be able to use (engine/mechanical wise)?

Also - has anyone done a 5spd swap on a 96-97 SVX? The TCU is built into the ECU on them correct? Sounds like a headache.

the engine is a direct swap. Only things are the egt(exhaust gas temp sensor) and the SAIC(Secondary Air Idle Controller) sensors. THe 97 will have an EGT and the 97 motor will not have a SAIC. The ECU is different but they still have seperated TCU's which can simply be removed. I beieve there are a couple mt 96&97's around

It would be a pita, but you DO have the wiring harnesses and ecu from the 92 you can wire in. Granted, you would have to strip both cars to mroe or less the shell to do it..but hell, you can fix thing that may or not be broken, and polish / wax all the paint that nobody will ever see (probly the only way to get your car cleaner than Svxess's)
