Maybe it is just too blurry to see, but it looks like the clamp is on just the breather, not the hose.

The laws that they are enforcing are polution controll/SMOG laws, and while I have no problem with them enforcing these laws I have a huge problem with the gross misprepresentation that the CHP is laying out, they are walking a fine line. I have been pulled over by one too many cops who didn't know the law, 90% of them do, but all it takes is one to ruin your day! Then the cop clearley stated that he pulled the motorist over for a reason other than the real reason of street racing equipment, again, sounds like walking a fine legal line, he probably couldn't pull the motorist over for the possible smog violations, so he looked for an excuse. Not once did I hear that they were looking for SMOG violations to clean up the air...

What part of the exhaust (besides the cats and forward) is part of smog ....what part of colored hose is smog....( can understand the breather) what part of the intake mani is smog? ...fuel pressure regulator?
