I think mirrors can be folded manually with our US SVX. Have you guys tried that? It's scary to do that since it's like breaking, but they should fold. But don't try it unless you need to!! I might be wrong... At least I folded mine before. Well actually somebody hit it and the mirror was folded.

When I bought my SVX, I was actually looking for a switch for the electric folding mirrors like JDM version has.

Yeah in Japan, you would be amazed how tight the parking spaces are! My parents in Osaka always have to fold the mirrors to move their car in. Some people just fold mirrors so they don't get scratched by others.

Our US mirrors are supposed to fold manually. My passenger one folded with no problem but the drivers side one took a little more force....i was afraid i was going to break it too.

Belong to anyone here?

This is only the third SVX I have ever seen in person (besides mine). It looked strange seeing the interior with everything a "mirror image" It had no spoiler and was silver and black.
I was stationed in Yokosuka for a long time (all my cars had folding mirrors), and I think that one belongs to a Japanese lady who works at the officers club. Been bumper to bumper with her a couple times.

I believe you're right. It was parked near the entrance to the "Warehouse" restaurant at the "O" Club. Thanks for the input. ... Bill

Wow small world. Driving SVX make me feel special when I hear, that was you that time over there yesterday I saw you in SVX! Easy to be spotted.

Once my mom sent me the picture of SVX in Osaka/Japan, and I actually saw the exact one on website. That must be his. Since his SVX has wheels painted in Gold!

This is the pic my mom sent w/ her camera phone:

And this is the one I found on the web.

Do you guys agree this is the same car?? The picture on the web was from SVX club meeting around Osaka area.

Again, not so many SVXs in Osaka..

SubaRyu that definitley looks like the same car. You can tell by the rack on top, fold wheels, and the decal on the bottom part of the car. In the first pic you cant see the other 500 decals that you see on the trunk in the second pic
