The day has arrived!!
AHHHH, after an eight month vacation(It wouldnt have been such a long time if i had a heated shop, or more that one day a week to work on her) from the highway, my SVX is now Fully Operational!!! I think I fell in love all over again(dont tell my wife!). I just got back from a "quick" drive through one of my favorite State parks in Iowa (within the maximum speed limit ofcourse) and I must say, she still cuts through the corners like she use to!! Now that shes running again I cant wate for the FWD tranny to go so I can start my AWD/5MT swap(again, dont tell the wife)!!
Having a Great day, Will

I love the feeling of getting back into the SVX after it's been off the road for a while. I'm practically laughing and jumping in the seat.

I hate to tell you, but your FWD tranny isn't going to go without a fight. I had mine up to 80 mph in second gear...never missed a shift, never even slipped at all... ...unless you drain the transmission of oil and run around...

It'll go sooner or later
Well, I have some feelings that it will go out sooner than later due the fact it has 128,000 miles on the clock. My original tranny only had 114,000 on it when it went out. I keep the fluid up to the line on the dipstick making sure that it still looks like and smells like tranny fluid. Its got a new filter in her, but I still have some faith in it.
