Those struts can be fitted to an SVX, I think. What about putting 5mm spacers on each side and grinding the strut holes a little bit as the attached figure shows... it is possible to fit them, I think. We need to check the stabilizer thingy which is welded to our stock struts and the upper mounting and strut lengh...
BTW: THE RADS ARE BADASSSSSSS, bettAr than the PWR's

Cool radiator.
Looks like this strut thing was a bust though. Why modify a decent strut when you can buy a better one that fits for maybe 100-200 more.

Yeah you can make anything work but it's not worth it since the Konis are just a bit more $$ and alot better than anything we could fab up.
That radiator was a PITA. I have just a lil more work on the upper brackets and it should be all done. I'll post more detailed photos on the mod section at that time. The trans cooler is so huge because the Radiator did not come with an oil cooler.

aren't struts and shocks two different things? Cause as per the pic it was saying "tokico gas SHOCKS" I didn't think we could swap in shocks for our existing struts....

Rear Probe Tokico bolt center to bolt center = 61.5mm SVX Rear Strut bolt center to bolt center = 66mm Rear Probe Tokico Mounting portion width = 34.5mm Svx Rear Strut Mounting portion width = 30mm One thing to note; the rear Probe struts have really small spring perches compared to the SVX. Bottom line probe struts are about as different from ours as any other struts out there. No direct fit here. P.S -Silver I bought the radiator whole. I just made it fit our stock SVX mounting points. The hardest part was actually finding fans that were slim enough to allow the radiator to fit. I went through about 3 pairs of fans before getting it right I'll post up some detailed pics soon.

Triumph...can you confirm that the front struts centre to centre bolt pattern is 72mm as per your photo, and the rears are 66mm?
And that the width of 30mm is the same across both? Has anybody done similar measurements to STi's or Legacy's? thanks, Matt |
