I would like it better if the decal matched..
but I think it's good.
I would pull the decal and order a small scoop.. that'd be hot..

actually looking at it more, reduce the size of the decal a little and maybe get it in pearl to match and it would look goreous

For less than the cost of fixing the hood, you can get a fiberglass one and paint it.

I'm not fond of the decal as I don't see the point of advertising ones make and model to everyone.

Nice patchwork though. Looks superb.

What you’ve done might not be the modification of choice for Bill Gaits but I think that it’s a very good solution given your financial restraints. One does what one can with what one has. In my opinion, what you’ve done is perfectly acceptable by any yardstick. As you've said, it's a temporary fix. Drive it with pride.
I agree.

davew833 - I lived in Goshen, UT from '93-'98, moved there from Los Angeles (slight culture shock . . . ). Utah is a great state and the people are even better! No, I'm not a 'member'. The wife and I plan to go back and visit sometime in the SVX, maybe this summer.
