what do you guys think i'll get

this january in a bit of a snowstorm i slammed into a pot-hole which subsequently bent a wheel and eventually blew a tire... i've heard of people getting reimbursement from the city/county in these cases so i thought i'd give it a shot. i already went ahead and replaced what i needed to for as cheap as possible assuming i wouldnt get any help.
the woman from the insurance company was a complete.... well.... ya know..
so i figured i'd get nothing...

i got something in the mail from the insurance company today asking for 2 repair invoices....
well... should i forget to mention i bought a USED wheel... and used a bit of a discount on the tires... (used wheel was 75... two front tires = 300.. so i fixed it for 375)
should i send them invoices for a new wheel and tires... from two different sources?
or should i send them the receipts for what i payed... plus a quote from subaru/goodyear...(maybe they'll go down the middle?)

i'm curious as to what'll happen... either way though i need whatever i can get, i'm broke...

Show the actual receipts. Better to not hide anything.

I can see how that might be tempting, but I think the easiest way to decide is to take a look at the worst case scenario of both.

1. Show actual receipts - worst case they refuse the claim and you get nothing

2. Show fake receipts or quotes only - worst case they arrest you for fraud

I'll take door number one, please...

right... yeah, and my intentions really arent to get anything i dont deserve... i just thought maybe some people would feel i am entitled to NEW parts... however my parts werent new when they were damaged by the pot-hole... so i'll probably show them the actual receipts + what i would've spent had i gone w/ a new wheel $$$... hopefully they'd still go down the middle, i'd be very happy with that... i guess i'd be happy with anything
