This is why we need a FAQ section so SVXers don't keep askig the same question over and over...that's what I found so amusing about Jimsbaby's question...it's answered only 3-4 pages back in THIS THREAD and as I said I've done the same thing. Anyone have a suggestion as to how we might better manage this database?
Still waiting for a response to my wheel bearing question...
WGJ
Actually a bunch of the roh's are available in the same width and offset (8" +49mm) in both 18's and 17's. The 17's are probaby right in a lot of people's price range (cheaper tires) and you can get most of the styles in bling bling finishes.

So since this has turned into a wheel/tire fitment thread.

-17x8 48mm -> widest tire that will fit?
-Will 18x8.5 48mm work? or 17x8.5 48mm?

Yeah Baby

Longassname,
Yes Sir...if you remember I mentioned in ths thread that I had decided on the 17x8 Roh w/Yoko Dbs...but I'm going w/Continental Extremes instead. I don't think 255/35 should be a problem fitting...what did you post previously for 17s when you did the calculations for various wheel and tire sizes combinations?
Thanx again for turning me on to this wheel fitment solution.

WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS part two

Jimsbaby,
Apparently you have still not taken the time to start on p.1 of this thread and READ! So, lazy one, here is the answer to the quiz:

"Yep, sounds like a Stage II SVX Not much on the street that can come close. I'm thinking your conti extreme contacts hook up a lot better than my pirelli pzero nero m+s's (not suprising, they have half again as much tread touching the ground on the same size tire). They are a great tire too. I would have gotten them if they came in the right size. If I had sold my wheels I would have gotten 17x8 +49mm wheels and the conti extreme contacts in a 255 40 17. That would be serious traction."

There's more but you need to READ THIS THREAD FROM P1 to get ALL your questions answered. OK? It's worth it just for the pictures of Longassname's SVX w/the Roh Drifts and Pirellis installed...

WHEEL WEIGHT

Wheel weight is an excellent question...I havn't been able to find that out yet.
Perhaps Longassname weighed one of his 18x8s prior to installation or asked at his pont of purhase?
I'd really like to know what the 17x8 weighs...

Wheel Weight

The answer to my question is 26 lbs. That's what the ROH rep told me the Drift 17x8 weighs. Forgot to ask about the 18x8.
