Manual Transmission Replacement
Hello all,
So after having fun times in the 5spd it appears my trans no longer likes 2nd gear. See the video below. What options are out there for direct replacement. I have the 3.90 5spd so if I have to go with a different gear ratio I can. Also it is a cable so hydraulic is out. Now is it possible to have hydraulic converted to cable? If so there are many cheaper options than attempting to find a direct replacement for what I have. I do not want to have to install the necessary stuff for hydraulic operation. What transmissions can I get to replace my 5spd Cable 3.90 trans? Or should I just seek having a rebuild (minus removal / install labor as I'll do that myself). Thanks
