new issue at idle
So now when I come to stop the idle bounces and sometimes bounces so bad it dies.
I still have random bogging down issues. The bogging down is worse in the mornings. I have replaced the coils... used ones. Any one got any ideas? I have replaced O2 sensors(ngk) Spark plugs (ngk laser iridium) Knock sensors Coolant temp sensor (oem) MAF (twice) TPS (and tested to make sure it is fine and adjusted with meter) Cam and crank sensors Intake gaskets Alternator (maniac) All vacuum hoses under intake Fuel filter AND 6 new fuel injectors. Re: new issue at idle
Dude. Sounds like you ran the gambit in regards to replacing all the things that could be wrong. All thats left is checking to see if the censor plates on the crank shaft have all their teeth. The only other items is could possibly be is the coil Ignitior (located behind the intake on the firewall) or possibly a glitching ecu.

Re: new issue at idle
I think it is the idle air control valve.
I have an extra throttle body with the IAC attached. I think I will clean the IAC tomorrow and if the IAC gasket isnt shot install the super clean throttle body. |

Re: new issue at idle
New symptom....sorta.
Sometimes at 750 rpm it idles smooth as silk Sometimes at that same 750 rpm the idle is very rough. When it is rough when I go to accelerate it will sputter and backfire once moving it runs good. Has also been dying at idle and bouncy idle. But at speeds it is running better than it ever has. |
