What size drive would you suggest? I wasn't aware there was anything larger than that that was readily available.

For those rare occasions when nothing else will work, I have 3/4" drive ratchets and sockets. 17" ratchet, 24" breaker bar and sockets from 19 mm up to 50mm. Available at HARBOR FREIGHT for less than $50.00. i like the sure-grip sockets which grip the fasteners on the flat side so as not to round off the points. Transmits more torque. .

I was simply trying to make a point about how tight that big old bolt needs to be. When you add the big old mauler, it works great! Pulling it "real hard" is a bit too light! Big old mauler is easy but be sure you don't misdirect the swing to anything else! I actually prefer the long box end wrench because the socket can more easily slip off as you hit it with the big old mauler! Keith |

Ok so im locktited and torqued to 120lbs so hopefuly we are all good...i replaced the pulley cus the key way was misshapened

BUT AND IF are big little words. The key should never move. Blue would hold it. Still would take a real batting to get it out. Y not just JB weld it in.

JB weld is for plastic not to mention you have to be able to get the crank pulley and crank sprocket off if you ever want to do your crank seal, or remove/reseal the oil pump. |
