Front Control Arm Bushes

I just learned that Subaru only sells complete control arms for $385 and does not sell the inner rubber bushes. Same old SVX story.

Apparently they are not difficult to change with a press (which I have) if I can get the parts.

Does anyone know a source for conventional rubber or polyurethane bushes? Do any of the SVX aftermarket shops sell them?

As far as I know, you do, in fact, have to replace the whole arm. I've never heard of someone pressing in new bushings.

Someone please chime in if i'm wrong!

If I recall, the same bushing fits in both locations, so each set would be four bushings, or 13 sets to make it a go

I'll probably buy 3 sets myself.

I can get whoever needs them a complete set of them at the end of April. I have some spare front control arms. I should be able to press them out without any damage.

I'm sure they would cost the same as the polyurethane rear differential mounts.

Ken, let me know which arm it is you need. I have a parts car I could take it off of and just replace the whole arm
