Angry Thud Thud sound =(

Guys, I need help!

Whenever I press on the gas, I am getting this thud, thud, thud sound from the front right wheel area (remember I am driving so it could have came from center as well).

The more gas I press, the faster the sound is. The car shifts fine so it's probably not from the trans. Can someone tell me where it can be from? It's probably not the CV joints either since they don't tick when i turn the car.

Maybe it could be misfiring or non fireing spark plugs. Any clues???

Please help!!!

Lwin

"The more gas you press", ie: the faster the engine revs, or the faster the car goes? Need more info to even guess. Bill

faster the car goes, the faster the thud sound is. It's annoying me. I can put the car in N and rev it up. No thuds. Only when it moves.

Not really enough information for a really good determination, but a few ideas;

1. Loose brake caliper
2. Bad tire
3. Something trapped at the back of the wheel
4. Something stuck on the axle

I figure it's GOT to be around the wheel-area... very little in the engine-compartment spins at the same speed as the car's running... that's what transmissions are for
