LSI power steering pump

I'm having power steering problems and need to replace the power steering pump in my 95 LSI. Found some old threads on the topic and they discussed two different pumps; one for speed sensitive pumps and the other for engine sensitive pumps. I believe I need the speed sensitive pump but am confused about the correct part # and how to tell the physical difference. I don't want to pay the OEM price so I'm looking aftermarket; any suggestions as to where to purchase in addition to correct part #?

Re: LSI power steering pump

They are very easy to rebuild.
Base (L) is rpm and LsL is speed sensitive. Basically leather=speed sensitive. I'm not aware of any aftermarket ones available.

Re: LSI power steering pump

I checked the "How to" and your correct that a rebuild is not too difficult but this is a daily driver so I need to just replace the unit. When I referred to aftermarket, I was thinking of a rebuilt unit from a source like Rock Auto. I was looking for some info that would insure that I ordered the correct unit for speed sensitive and not mistakenly order a rpm unit. The old thread that I came across discussed the two different power steering pumps and part #s but didn't clarify which was the speed sensitive unit, therefore my post.
