8k milles for 21k sounds like a decent deal. Not that I'd really know though I bet the 2500 I paid for mine is what Subafreak laughs about on his ride home.
I did talk to a dealer about a 97 teal lsi with 60k miles for 14k.
I'll look at it Friday. guy has had it for a while so hopefully i'll do better.

That car was purchased by a gentleman from Alemeda, CA who last posted here in June of 2002. His handle is Learjeff. Go to "members" & read his posts. If you're lurking, Jeff, we'd love to hear what's happenin' with the "new" car.

[QUOTE=JeffN] Stiil, what can you get for 15k with 8k on the clock? A Daewoo??

Jeff, you said the dealer is asking $21K for the car, not $15K. You can get a new Honda Civic coupe for about that price. It is fun to drive and has a full factory warranty to protect your investment. It is cheap to own and to drive. The SVX, on the other hand, is more than 10 years old, and aging fast. It is expensive to own and operate. You have options and I suggest you investigate them. Best wishes.
Preston

But not 4 years ago-Civics were , well , Civics. Point taken though. Gotta love SVXs nowadays to hump one along.

Even the local Sube dealer pointed out their foibles and said to get a different Sube.

Civics are still, well...ya. No, I drove a 2006 for most of the summer and it was a nice car. If I was in the market for a compact it would get my nod over others.

My opinion may change as I see more riced out copies of this generation of Civic.
