Thumbs up Finally, some good news! o/t a little.

SVX wheel bearings, installed properly & warranted for 2 years, unlimited mileage, $75.00 per axel! .....NOT! Come on get real!

The better news is that I'm practically immortal! (Well, good news to ME, anyway). That's right - if you've read the latest study about the bennys of "one or two" daily drinks of almost any kind of al-kee-hol, and how it keeps the heart well lubed; I'm sure you're hoisting a few right now. I am! Here's to your health, everyone. Thank you Mr. Almaden & your boxes 'o cardio-care!

Ron (I may outlive my SVX)!

the reasons that some doctors recomend that you consume 1 alcoholic beverage a day is because it thins your blood. that means your heart doesn't have to work as much to pump it through your arteries...and your one vein...the only vein that carries oxygenated blood, can anyone name it????

just useless info that i thought ya all should know

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Sure... that's the varicose vein. I got two legs full of 'em, & I'm the picture of geriatric health.

Ron (humor in a jugular vein). Thanks Mad mag.

Is it not the Pulmonary ARTERY, for very good reason.

Anyway Ron at this moment I am sipping a scotch and water and wishing you very good health. In moderation alki is a good thing. I suffered from duodenal (spelling?) ulcers when young but no more !

Yes, Trevor, my friend. You've also discovered the curative powers of box 'o hootch. My ulcers were also dismissed with decades of booze abuse. As to my liver... Hmmm...
Still have a pulse, though! Ron.

Yes a drink or two a day may reduce the risk of a heart attack/stroke, but imagine what actual physical exercise would do!
