Re: big overhaull

now, lets change the oil.
first, open oil feed plug.
remove the gauge too.

now put someting bellow the engine to keep the old oil.
open the plug and wait to drain all old oil. ( it's a 17 wrench )

during the leak, clean plugs and gauge.

change the plug seal.
and reinstal it when draining is complete.

now, use a good wrench to remove the old oil filter, and replace it.

it's ok to feel whit good new oil.
check the level! ( 6.5L )
when ok, instal feel plug, gauge and all necessary things.

start up the engine and check if there is no leak.
check if all is ok, and if you dont have forgot some tool in the engine bay.
clean all a little.

Naru, give you 9.99 out of 10 for that job, well done.

95 models are the best.

Kia ora Nuru,

I second the above. Congratulation, you have put a lot of effort into this. After some slight editing it should certainly be included in the "how too" section. Make sure you receive this just reward and recognition.

Re: big overhaull

This all is stuff I should definitely know how to do and I have watched svxfiles do it many times but it never really sank in. Now I know where to look if I ever move away from the area..

Thanks for the details and the pics.
