License plate light bulb size?
I browsed a bit and saw that someone had inquired about getting led's as replacments for the license plate lights. I remember I laughed and thought why would anyone want those? Well I do now, weird.
So does anyone know how I would go about swapping out to led's or what the bulb sizes are so I could maybe just get some bright white bulbs?

http://www.superbrightleds.com/ It also has a link that will pretty much tell you all the bulbs in your car I think it uses a sylvania site to do that. Some of these LED lights are pretty interesting.

The SVX license plate light uses a "wedge" type bulb 168.
I use the PIAA extreme White bulbs. The are very white and the color is the closest to HIDs and can be ordered online. They can be ordered from PIAA for about $16.00/pair HERE or from Amazon.com (type in PIAA 19172 to search there) The color is great and have been in my polo for over 4 years without butning out. .

I have white LEDs on my license plate to match my 5000k HIDs
I got them from the superbrightleds as well. They have low prices, fast shipping and a quality product.  Sorry for the blurry photo!

Thanks guys. I ordered a pair of the super bright ones.
Aparently the size or whatever is 168. Only ended up being like $13 after shipping. Not pricy at all. I have a feeling though that when I get these lights, I'll want a different license plate or maybe I'll want to clean mine for once.
