Writeup for straight-up trans swap?

OK, this might be a stupid question. I searched, and came up with a lot of 5-speed swap info, but nothing related to what I'm looking for.

Is there a writeup or how-to floating around for a straight-up auto==>auto transmission / diff swap? Meaning, simply what to unbolt and in what order, any "gotchas" (like a hidden plug on the top that goes overlooked and gets ripped out when the trans comes down), what parts will either need to be or are strongly recommended to be replaced (gaskets / seals) every time the transmission comes out, what tools will be necessary, etc. Also, what fluid does everyone use / recommend? I can look up the capacity myself, haven't done that yet though.

The reason I ask - I might be looking at conducting 3 transmission and 2 rear diff swaps in the coming months, and have never done it before. I just kind of want to know what I'm getting into here. This will be done in my driveway with hand tools. How long (ballpark) can I expect to spend dropping / installing each transmission given the fact that I'm new at this and won't have a lift or air tools?

If there's a document floating around that has this information in it, I'd love to see it. I did look for one, but maybe I missed it.
