This is really wierd
When i want to lock my doors. i push the lock down and shut my door and they put up and are unlocked. What the hell is this???

You have to hold the handle up while you close the door. I guess it's some kind of "you-can't-lock-your-keys-in-the-car" feature...

That was pretty standard on just about all Subarus back in the 80's and 90's.

Yup, my/the wife's Miata does the same thing... has to do with the central locking, where locking or unlocking the driver's door, also does the same for the passenger's side.

Wait... so your telling me on my impreza, the entire time it's just been that and not that my doors will not lock? IF that's really true... I'm gonna be half way ****ty. Oh wait... I'll just lol instead.
