Pics of my California BiT$H

Here are some pics of the SVX replacement. She is wonderfully brutale to drive! She goes to the painter in about a month an a half! Anybody have a spare Ford Capri Injection lying around I can have the heads off of?

It fell off, besides it was screwing with the weight bias. Remember I've never g-teched your SVX below 7.5 seconds. Your just an angry boy since a Bronco engine is faster then your flat 6.

Yeah I always believe what "they" tell me too. Why is it that there is a different part number if it is the same?

Perceptive question Michael.

No.

That's a TR7 and is a mainstream car made by Triumph. That car you have pictured and the TVR are the two definitive British wedge styled cars of the 80s and you would be forgiven for thinking they were the same from the rear, they are very similar.

I had a French wedge car myself, a Matra Murena, but I'm still luke warm about the looks of the two British cars. The Triumph has a really nice interior, as does the TVR, but the TVR is way more sporty to drive.

Ben I have a current article on the TVR 350, if you are interested I'll scan it.

Joe

Ugly, that's the first I've heard that description as it has just as much design petigree as the SVX. Sure it looks its part as a late 70s car but it also looks very good it its later revisions through the 90s.

Besides, I wasn't interested in looks as I considered a Jensen Healey, Lotus Elcat and an early Esprit. Chose this as it was a solid 1g skidpad car out of the box. Sorry Alan, cars that handle don't apply to you! Plus it was priceless when the neighbor with the straight pipe Harley "asked" me not to drive it to work in the morning as it wakes him up. FYI it has as much clearance as an SVX does. Just doesn't have the approach angle.

Don't worry, when I decide what to do engine wise it (still going back and forth on keeping a streetable 2.8 in it or going to a 4.9 or a rover engine (tranny is the issue with the later here in the states) you won't have to look at the front end at all in your silver!)

I'd love it Joe, in fact I was thinking of sending you some money to buy some parts to ship to me as most of the british shops won't sell us sue happy americans any of the good bits. I've been making out though for the time being provided I can make the shock set up work once I find a 60mm spring to fit.
