Long time coming - Pictures of my "new" 97 SVX Ebony

Hello All

So I met with the transport and my car for the first time. Took some pictures but keep in mind they were taken with my cell phone. Also, the car has not had a good cleaning since January of this year. It had a quick light wash for transport purposes to prove that there was no body damage before pick up.

so here it is.

More Pics now of exterior

Yes I noticed the wheels are on backwards and it was killing me not to fix that on the spot. I will also need to source new headlight covers as they are a little yellowed. seems to be the only thing. She was smooth and quiet, no rattles or funny noises.

Regards

Max

Beautiful car! It looks new. You got it from the States obviously, the speedo is in miles and the temperature is °F.
Don't replace the headlights though. There are plenty of headlight refinishing kits that do a very nice job at a fraction of the cost.

Re: Long time coming - Pictures of my "new" 97 SVX Ebony

mmmm...gorgeous. Original EPA mileage was quite conservative, I get significantly better than it says in the window sticker. Claimed is 17/24, I get 19/30. Maybe the car is like good wine and gets better with age?

Re: Long time coming - Pictures of my "new" 97 SVX Ebony

We use gallons in Canada?

I was calculating from litres and kilometers, so by the (idiotic) Canadian measurement, I get 12.3L/100KM city, and 7.8L/100KM highway.

Re: Long time coming - Pictures of my "new" 97 SVX Ebony

You got me there as long as you're using 3.785 and not 4.546 in your calculations.
Yup, L/100km is Greek to me, MPG works.
