Hi all

Has anyone purchased one of these PWR radiators? What is the verdict?

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

I just purchased one from svxfiles. It's being put in my car today. I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

They are great for engine AND tranmission cooling. There were significant fitment problems with early production, but this has supposedly been reduced to only minor intallation problems.

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

Excellent product! Beautiful work! 5-pass trans cooler basically eliminates the need for an external cooler. Too bad mine is headed to the aluminum recycler.

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

Question -- what size T-clamps are people using on the radiator hoses? 2"?

Thanks.

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

This may be a silly question, but:

How many people had fitting problems with their PWR Aluminium Radiator?

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

My rad fans didn't line up perfectly... when fitting the fans to the rad the bolts put too much pressure on the plastic the plastic has broken a little but I don't consider it a problem, since then I've given the fans a massive push and put my weight on it to try and separate the fans from the rad (at the top) The PWR radiator is not an issue, it's been on my car for over a year now and I'm sure if there was a problem I would have already had it.

Get your car fixed so we can meet up again

Re: PWR Aluminium Radiator

Hi all,

Finally spoke to PWR in Qld. They said that the SVX is no problem, each radiator is 'hand made' to order and would cost over $900. Sounds lovely, but out of my budget at this time.

Rock on
