A rare Subaru graghics package?

I've never heard of it in the US. I have a jdm accessory brochure and they have it. The car is on ebay. Nice laguna. 1 owner.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subar...spagenameZWDVW

Does anybody have any info on those graphics being available in the US? Whether by brochures, pics, or seeing it in person or perhaps owning one.
Thanks.

Re: A rare Subaru graghics package?

I honestly don't think so....best case scenario is that a U.S. Subaru dealership decided to put graphics on...

I would agree. I have never heard of graphics that Subaru offered. That is the first graphics like that, that I have seen. It is truly rare.

All I see is a pinstripe and a bright reflection of the pavement.

Re: A rare Subaru graghics package?

doesn't a '94 manufactured in 11/93 count as an "early" '94? Cuz I've got manual belts. (thankfully)

Re: A rare Subaru graghics package?

My 92 Silver parts car had this odd late 80's california looking graphic on the side.

said SVX in pink (in the right font) on the rear dog leg. w/ a pink stripe down the car. certainly looked original to me. I didn't take any pics of the parts car (I was to busy ripping it down). I think I asked about the graphic a long time ago...will have to search the forum later.

Meh.

James

Re: A rare Subaru graghics package?

Yea, here was my post years ago. I was selling it. The last paragraph mentioned the graphic. I can't find another car w/ the graphic now, but I remember seeing it. Can anyone else find it?

Condition.
Once the car is in my posession, I will be dismantling the door panels and rear side panels b/c I owe the wood grain part of the door to Sir romeo. The rest of the paneling will remain with the car.

Because of such, the price has moved down to $275. Priced to mooooooooooove.

Oh, just a side note. This is one of the odd Silver SVXs that has original/stock decaling found on the lower rear dogleg. a California style pink lettered SVX and pink pin striping down the side. This has been found on at least one other car before, so is not a custom job.

I think the issue is L vs. Lsi in this case. The L had all the old stuff (one airbag, auto seat belts, one piece back seat) and the Lsi introduced the newer stuff like manual belts (which non-US SVXes had all along), 2 airbags, and the split rear seat.

Pinstriping is a dealer installed or custom job. Doubt it was part of some "graphics package" officially made for the SVX. I can't tell from the small pics if the lower door panel is a different color or just reflection, but if it is actually a solid graphic covering the whole panel, it's definitely not factory approved - looks lame without the front or back pieces there. And they would have just done the JDM 3 tone paint treatment anyway.

The 80's style "fade" SVX logos in front of the rear wheels (usually in pink) I believe were a factory option as I have seen them on several cars over the years and I think in a brochure somewhere.

It depends on the month, 11/93 would actually be a later '94 model.

I test drove a '94 Pearl LSi with Autobelts and a single airbag. It was acouple years ago but I believe the manufacture date was 4-5/93.

Re: A rare Subaru graghics package?

Just wondering does the one piece back seat fold down? I had thought they all had the split seats. (I'm close to buying a 92 and I am wondering if my skis will fit in.)
