It comes in a foil pouch. I had a heck of a time trying to find it but I was looking for a different packaging. It's there.

here is linky to the kit that works....http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=37876

The only thing that should be done differently is get some 400 grit wet sand paper and hit the lenses up with that a few times first. sand...wipe clean. do it a few times...always keep it wet.

I wet sanded and clearcoated my headlights today. Then I polished them with tech wax. They look so much better.

We'll see how long that lasts...

Re: Headlight Cleaning

Mine were starting to get cloudy so I bought the kit from Wal-Mart and tried it. Here are some photos.

Re: Headlight Cleaning

For those of you sanding and clearcoating, do you use rubbing compound before clearcoating, or after?

Re: Headlight Cleaning

I have a set of six wet sanding foam pads, can't remember (old geezer) where I bought them. They are 2"X2", coarse grit is 2400 then 3200, 4000, 6000, 8000, 12000. They do a good job. I have been using Turtle wax, super hard shell.

Has anyone used this product? www.novuspolish.com. They have a 3 bottle set of heavy scratch remover, fine scratch remover & plastic clean & shine, also does a good job.

Several years ago a member posted a "how to" here to remove the head lights and separate the 2 pieces with a heat gun and clean the inside of the lense...not worth the effort.

I use the wet sanding kit on the rear red plastic, does a super job on those pieces.

I use that too. The owner of my local NAPA store recommended it.

Re: Headlight Cleaning

I've gone the wetsand + clearcoat route, and been very satisfied with the results. Lasted well through the winter in Colorado, granite on the roads and all!
