Help with oil leak needed

So I had my car on the lift at work, checking for oil leaks, found that my valve covers are leaking, and probably my cam seals too, no biggie as I can get those and replace them, no big deal. So I lowered it down and started poking around the engine, and I notice oil under the intake manifold. My question is, what is under there that has oil to it that could be leaking?

I have the same thing happening with my car. From what I've read it's not uncommon. I forget the cause exactly, but oil ends up pooling in the IRIS valve chamber (that sphere in the middle of the intake) and drips out through the bottom.

I wonder if it's oil vapor from the recirc. system collecting there.I took my throttle body off recently and noticed there was some residue inside the collector but not enough to cause a drip like you describe but I suppose it could happen if the pcv system wasn't functioning right.Just a guess.Keep us posted.

replace your PCV. The oil vapor from the crankcase (PCV) is collecting in the IRIS valve and leaking from there.

All my oil on the top of the motor is actually atf from the p/s pump. With dirt and engine heat it wasn't noticable that it wasn't motor oil.
