WTB: Seats

Looking for gray or black leather seats in the Pittsburgh area for local pickup. Don't have to be perfect, just in pretty good shape. Thanks

I am selling my seats if you are interested... I took brand new 2003 WRX seats and modified the rails to make them fit. I also bought a rear seat to complete the set up. I was asking $400 for the full set or $300 for just the fronts.

Shipping would be kinda expensive. Probably in the $120~ range. If you wanted to drive and meet I could meet you part way.

Thanks but thats way to far to drive! I'll try to find something locally to replace my seats. What is involved in modding the seat rails to fit in the SVX?

I can ship if you want..... Modding the rails is kind of a pain... STi seats are even worse than WRX seats...

Ownbot,

I'm pretty sure my dad has a nice set of gray leather seats. Let me know if you are still looking and if you need the front and back or just front and I'll check with him. The best part is I'm only about 20 miles from you (Waynesburg).

I changed out my seat skins to custom ones from Dale, I still have the old skins for the front and back that are in very good condition. So if you want to swap the skins, you can have them for $50.00 plus shipping from Toronto.

Laserx, what is your impression of the quality and fit of the leather sold by Dayle? Was the install hard?

Excellent quality, and perfect fit. I didn't install them myself, I paid an expert do it. I wanted a perfect job done, so I paid the price. I think I paid $450.00, it was a few years ago.
