Question Hard steering

Soon after I bought my '95, the cel came on...I pulled over and checked everything out, and my power steering fluid wasn't showing on the dipstick. I also couldn't see any in the tank. I bought a container of it at the gas station a mile away and put it in...leaked out by the time I got home (120 miles).

I then bought some power steering stop-leak, put it in, and it stopped leaking. However, I recently bought abother SVX and noticed the steering is wayyyyy easier on the new one. The one that had previous problems takes two hands to turn at a stop light to give an idea...it's almost as if I don't have power steering at all. I'm not sure if this started after I had trouble with it, or if it was always this way...but does anyone have an idea what might be wrong? It's not leaking...doesn't make funny noises or anything...just really tough to turn.

#1 Flush all of that power steering fluid out ASAP.

#2 read the cap and fill the system with ATF dex. III

#3 Check all fuses in the kick panel fuse box and be sure they are all good.

#4 check the connections both on the PS pump pressure sensor and the sensor on the rack and be sure all wires are connected and clean....

Do this and get back to me

Tom
