Poopy, guess I'll have to keep looking

Wait, do you have the 80 series muffler? Because on Flowmaster's website they have single 2.5 in and dual 2.5 out. That's the only 80 series they have like that.

I like the dual outlet magnaflow tips on SVXEXCESS son's car pix. Do you remember what p/n that is ? There are several Magnaflow tips listed at Perfomance Peddlars where I am about to drop some $
If only OT would offer those prefab'd headpipes, i wouldn't have to depend on Monroe Muffler..

The Magnaflow P/N is 35168. These are rolled dual angle cut tips made of double-walled, T-304 stainless steel. top notch manufacturing and finish all the way! (svxcess should know)

3" Dual Diameter, 2.25" I.D. Inlet, 10" Length

PerformancePeddler has them on sale for $51.69, but that price drops to $46.99 once you add them to your cart.

What mods would be needed for the system you're all describing for an ODBII ('96) SVX???

The problem Tom (svxfiles) and I found with the Magnaflow 94037 cat (OBDII) was that the O2 sensor bung was located at the FRONT of the cat. The stock converter had the O2 sensor located at the REAR of the cat.

In the front location, the O2 sensor would not get as clean a reading. Plus the location makes it a real pain to get to if you need to replace the O2 sensor. See photo:

To solve these two problems on my 1996 OBDII Polo, We used a Magnaflow 94007 converter (exactly the same as the 94037, but without the third O2 bung

We then welded an O2 sensor bung into the side of the exhaust pipe, directly behind the converter. Cleaner reading at the rear of the converter and a lot easier to change if necessary. We did have to lengthen the O2 wiring to account for the increased length needed. We did this at the permanent wiring, not the O2 sensor wiring.

No problems whatsoever.

True dual.

I've been contemplating my exhaust change aswell. I prefer the idea of a true dual and plan to have the same setup on my SVX as Impreza(will have EZ30D[R being 05+]) Which I submit for judgment. No main cat and replace the pre-cats with two Impreza cats probably Magnaflow ones. This runs back with no resonators through the two seperate pipes to Legacy GT muflers. Basicly with this I can more easily do it in stages. I'll see if I can get just the axle back of a Legacy GT set and 1-2 pipe into them till I can convert bit by bit. Then make up a dual pipe with flanges to link up to the Mufler in pipes and move the 1-2 to infront of the catback. Then after doing the cat swap out I have a true dual and a smooth flow. I have a 94 LSi so I dont have to worry about the third 02 sensor. Plus I have a system that I know either works or not for the Impreza aswell as the SVX. Comments? Suggestions? Utter N00Bism?

What they call it a vanity-plate. Shouldn't I be obligated to be vane with it?
Rota Tarmac 3's 18x8" on 245/40/18 Dunlop SP Sport 600's, Perrin light weight crank pulley, PRW radiator, custom coilovers(not GC's), 9006 HID 4300k 50W low beams, DIY garage door lip, and SVXfiles brake kit. Fixxed exhaust so no more sweet sound.

97 White/Black trim Impreza Outback Sport (March 13/08) 150K-180K(sensor broken)Good news is EZ30R and 05' 6speed full powertrain swap is in motion!: Will be doing more work as I can. Gonna be run by a Hydra so yeah fun to be had.
