Are you going to try to make the party this weekend? It doesn't cost anything to watch. We would like to meet the rest of the family anyway. We'll let you in , even if you DID get rid of the SVX.

Had a GREAT TIME at the Challenge in Lafayette guys. Took 3rd place in STX. Highly recommend you come out and play. Hell, maybe I should make a road trip!

The $40 got me the following:
-STi T-shirt (useful when working on my car)
-Lunch
-Gift package (STi can cozie, misc. doo dads)
-wooden plaque with nicely engraved plate details for my performance
-Subaru Road Race Team hat

Plus, the fastest man and women of the day were each given an all-expenses paid trip to Houston early next year to a Chalange event to drive the new '08 STi.

A great time with a lot full of Subaru enthusiasts to hang-out with. I would do it again.

Todd

Ben-If I were you I wouldn't go. Too many ricers in STX and STU plus all those nasty Legacy/Camry looking things . You'd probably lose your lunch. Gotta watch out for your health

Sounds like someone is getting paid off by Bill to ensure that there is no real competition in FP

Not planning to, figured why waste my time looking at warmed over Mazda's when I could drive the real thing at the Rev It Up events. Zoom, Zoom baby!

I'm not, it would cost me 1/4 of the entry fee for a hill climb, besides, it ain't like we got something to prove there as its been done to death.

I talked to daughter last night. She said that If there were 15 - people we can commando-raid her house in Bel-air. If there are more than 15 coming, we can go to a state park about 15 minutes north of Bel-air.
She said that her house is about 15 minutes from Ripken. This will be a 'burger, hotdog and soda' event, since we all have to drive a long way to get home.

Any takers??

I'm interested in going.. but that was before I realized it was such a hard-core event! Should I even bother entering, or would the car get eaten alive? I have minimal modifications.

Also, are there any special license I need to have, or am I eligible?
