I think the main lesson here is to just not drive into a ditch.

Hate to have this be my first post, but I couldn't resist.

Sometimes it can be good to drive into a ditch! Like when your Legacy gets run off the road and you find out that a good buddy of yours wants to sell you his SVX for it...

.....both of mine will spin 3 wheels at once on ice. The center diff will send power to the rear and front at the same time if it is working correctly. The rear LSD will send power to both sides. If that does not happen your car is broken!
I can spin ATLEAST 3 wheels in the ice, and sometimes the rain ... Rainy Autocrosses are AWESOME!!

hmmm... maybe your wheels are on backwards????

If it's not that, then I think your tires are broken

Because you have wide tires that don't grip on snow or ice.

Actually I was refering to the fact that I cannot keep traction on dry or wet pavement if I really get on it... Hence the use of the word "dry"

I thought you swore off this board anyway?

My apologies. You don't get traction on snow, ice or dry pavement. Does that make you feel better?

Actually, I can really get on it on dry or wet pavement and not spin at all. Same goes for dirt roads. However, I have Kumo tires that absolutely suck in winter conditions. No kidding, they're terrible. The cheaper cost does not justify the lack of performance.

If he ever gets stuck in a ditch I suppose he has a decent excuse.
