Does anyone know how to take off SVX door panels easily? Please help Should i just take it to bestbuy and have them install new front speakers for 35 bucks?

Welcome to the site!

Don't let BestBuy do it. They will break something.

There is a writeup in the SVXipedia on http://svx-iw.com/ that will tell you how to replace the speakers. It's also been covered many times here as well. Try the search feature.

Smile Front speaker removal

It is easy. Start from the bottom and pull off the door panel. Go easy and don't force but it will come off. Once the bottom clips are undone, remove the screw from the arm rest, lift UP the panel and it will separate easily. Undo the window harness and the panel is off! Take out the speakers and remove the "web" frame by drilling out the welds. I did not know that so I made 1/2" plywood frames. It worked great. Then just replace the 6 1/2" speakers and reverse the process. Enjoy the sound.

Removing the door panel:

Open the door, remove the 2 screws at the front of the door panel, near the hinge.

There is one screw hidden under the small plate below the door handle and three screws under the felt inside the armrest.

Gently pull around the bottom of the door panel to pop the fasteners from the door frame. You should now be able to lift up the door panel and slide it over the door lock. Once it is free, unplug the two electrical connectors (one for the power window switch and the smaller one to the door courtesy light)

Installation is just the reverse.
